I really have real flu today, yesterday was having sore throat only – my throat has been dried every morning for several days already – and causing me to not sleeping peacefully enough.
Talking to a senior who has a scholarship studying in China – she said Chinese government blocks Hi5, Twitter, Facebook, Blogspot, Wordpress, Multiply, and even HOTMAIL!!!! – any comments?
Friday night – I guess students really enjoy party here – and even my hall is half-filled with graduate level and above, there were groups of students cros-dressing walked pass the hall way in front of my room. (eg. Guys dress in girl’s clothes – and they look very cold – only few pieces)
Yesterday I managed to call mom in the morning while rushing to the meeting point. We went with the school to Glen Coe and Glen Finnan trip. – เหนื่อยแทบตาย เดินขาลาก เข่าทรุด
It was 3 hr in the bus to reach Glen Coe (valley of weeping) – a historical place where last time the army was ordered to kill the whole MacDonalds villagers. Luckily the villagers know and managed to escaped 5am in winter morning – up in the hidden valley (where we walked up to see – very strenuous) in the sleeping wears. The soldiers killed 38 people. However, even though escaped, many died because of the wet, cold weather and lacked of food. This massacre is well known as a political scandal that is a breach of trust that the soldiers turned on the hosts, breaking the Scots Law of Hospitality. It is a sad place to see and to walk up to see the empty plane and to see the sad feeling in the mist was lucky.
The way up looks like a glacier way in one of the gaps between the three sisters ‘ben’ … it was rough that if don’t look carefully you wouldn’t imagine climbing it – so naturally natural – when some part of the route we have to cling every steps on the crack of some particular big rock. 3 hours of walking – almost killed me haha (remember yesterday another 3 hr rushing-walking nonstop up-down Edinburgh Town – Hilly Hills), I would not go up there again this year.
Starting of the trip was very windy, cold, wet, rain, nice misty view of the hills behind the highland mist – but when we got up to the hidden valley plane – there was a bit of sun coming through the clouds – until we are down at the bus again. – Actually I understand now, how the people love to compliment the changing weather – Sunny does not equate to nicest view or scenery. Hill here are not high but are serious – plus the changing weather.
Then, passing Fort William, we went to Glen Finnan, another historical place with a monument for the clansmen that fought along with Bonnie Prince Charlie in the 18th Century (if I’m not wrong). This is one of the connecting historical places for the dispute war within the royal family to claim the succession to the throne. At this place, there’s also a bridge that was used to film HARRY POTTER!!! So, up we went to take the picture with it.
On the way back, listen to the Thai songs in p’may’s MP3 – happy and missing the clubbing back home with friends in Thai pub with a real band-playing music.
We came back at campus around 8.30pm. Rushed to the dorm and hurry cooked – we were hungry. We managed to cook SOUP!! อร่อยโคดดดดดดดดดด อากาศหนาวๆเจอซุปแล้วมีความสุข...
Actually there are lots of story along the way… I’ll prob pile them in another blog of mine: http://ignites-cinnamoose.blogspot.com as for this one is only a diary….
เขียนอังกิดแล้วดูไม่ค่อยได้อารมเนอะ... ปวดหัวมึนๆ อย่างรุนแรง ...สงสัยจะต้องกลับไปนอน....
